"A boring conversation turns into an unlikely adventure"

This fun personal micro film project was a challenge to take some run and gun footage of some friends, as well as some conversation set-up, and create a simple light and entertaining story. I explored creating a colourful sequence but with depth and reflection; warm and positive while allowing colder shots to peak through. I found this means the conversation stays light and cheerful and becomes more complex as we follow the journey through the sequences, less stylised and more real, returning to the playful tone by the end.

I included some shots of the subjects interacting with me as i found they allowed the viewers to understand more of who they are. It also mean't the whole sequence had a summer home video theme and, in the way the shots are pieced together, it resembles memories.
